• Educational Programmes: YSMA’s educational programmes are designed using object-based learning methodologies to help students foster 21st-century skills including creative and critical thinking, cultural awareness, communication and collaboration, among others. We’re dedicated to offering these programmes free of charge to disadvantaged students. Over 2000 secondary students from schools in Lagos have benefited from our initiatives, experiencing our rich collection and engaging in tailored educational activities. Sponsoring our programs enables us to continue offering these impactful experiences, fostering cultural appreciation and empowering the next generation.

• Free Access: Museum visits can inspire creativity and innovation, development of new skills and interests, critical thinking and knowledge discovery. By removing financial barriers, we can ensure that individuals and families from diverse backgrounds can experience the transformative power of museum visits. By sponsoring this initiative, you will be creating social value by aiding the cultural and intellectual formation of the Nigerian youth with their huge entrepreneurial and creative potential. This initiative is primarily targeted at students in the primary, secondary and tertiary levels.

• Exhibition Sponsorship: At the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art (YSMA), we curate two compelling exhibitions annually, spotlighting the richness of Nigerian art and exploring significant issues in our community. These exhibitions typically run for six months. In addition, educational and special programs are continuously offered, attracting diverse audiences eager to engage with our cultural heritage. Sponsoring an exhibition at YSMA allows corporations to play a pivotal role in our cultural programming. • Restoration of Seminal Works: The YSMA is entrusted with a diverse art collection featuring works by esteemed Nigerian artists such as Onabolu, Enwonwu, Okeke, Grillo and Lasekan.
